What is Pramiracetam?

Pramiracetam is a fat-soluble racetam developed by Parke-Davis in the 1970s. It’s sold in Italy and some Eastern European countries.

It’s thought to increase high-affinity choline uptake in the hippocampus.

How it works

Pramiracetam is thought to raise high-affinity choline uptake in the hippocampus, which speeds acetylcholine production. Like other racetams, it may also modulate AMPA receptors.

It’s much more potent by weight than piracetam.
