Description

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials, a nasal spray, sublingual tablets and capsules. Every batch is tested for 99% purity or better, and it’s sold for laboratory research only.

About BPC-157

BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid peptide based on a fragment of body protection compound, a protein first found in gastric juice. It’s one of the most widely studied research peptides, almost entirely in rodents.

It isn’t an approved drug in the US or Europe, and it’s on the WADA prohibited list.

How it works

Nobody has pinned down a single receptor for BPC-157. Lab studies point to several pathways: it raises VEGF receptor expression, which feeds blood vessel growth, it interacts with the nitric oxide system, and it increases growth hormone receptor levels in tendon cells.

In cell culture it helped fibroblasts move and spread, which is part of how tissue closes a wound. Those effects are why it shows up so often in tendon, ligament and gut repair models.

BPC-157 research

Most of the work comes from Predrag Sikiric’s group at the University of Zagreb. Their rodent studies report faster healing of tendon, ligament, muscle and gut injuries, and Mikus and colleagues described improved burn wound healing in mice.

Chang and colleagues reported in 2011 that BPC-157 raised growth hormone receptor expression in rat tendon fibroblasts. Controlled human data are very limited.

Choosing your option

There are 6 ways to buy it, from $70.35 to $630.04:

  • Peptide, 5mg: $70.35
  • Peptide, 10mg: $140.59
  • Nasal Spray, 100mcg per spray/10mg: $140.59
  • Sublingual Tablets, 400mcg/60ct/24mg: $319.73
  • Sublingual Tablets, 400mcg/120ct/48mg: $630.04
  • Capsules, 500mcg per capsule/60ct/30mg: $299.99

The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.

The nasal spray is pre-mixed in a metered pump bottle. The label gives the amount per spray and the total, which makes the math simple.

Sublingual tablets are pressed to dissolve under the tongue. Each one holds a fixed amount, printed in the size option, so there’s no measuring.

The capsules are pre-filled, so each one has the same amount. The size option lists it per capsule.

How labs use it

Repair peptide research mostly uses injury models: tendon or ligament damage, skin wounds, gut lining injury or muscle strain. Healing time, tissue strength and histology are the usual endpoints.

Because injury models vary a lot between animals, labs use larger groups and blinded scoring. A sham-injury group helps separate the peptide’s effect from normal healing.

Typical endpoints include wound closure rate, tensile strength of repaired tissue, collagen deposition and new blood vessel counts on histology. Gut models often score ulcer size and lining thickness.

Mixing and concentration

The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 5mg vial:

  • 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
  • 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL
  • 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/mL

Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

Quality and testing

Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.

Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.

Keeping it fresh

Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Refrigerate spray bottles after opening and keep the cap on.

Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight.

Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.

Handling notes

Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.

Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.

What you’ll need

  • Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
  • sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
  • alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Common questions about BPC-157

Can it be used in people or animals?

No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.

What do I mix it with?

Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.

How should I store it?

Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.

What forms does it come in?

Freeze-dried vials, a nasal spray, sublingual tablets and capsules. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.

Is BPC-157 in stock?

Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.

Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
