Description

Dulaglutide is a weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist fusion protein, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials. Each batch is checked for 99%+ purity. It’s intended for research use only.

Dulaglutide explained

Dulaglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist from Eli Lilly. Two copies of a modified GLP-1 peptide are fused to an IgG4 Fc fragment, which gives it a half-life of about five days.

It’s approved as Trulicity for type 2 diabetes. The development code was LY2189265.

Mechanism of action

The GLP-1 part activates GLP-1 receptors on beta cells, raising glucose-dependent insulin release and lowering glucagon. The Fc part is what keeps it in circulation for a week.

Because the molecule is large, it crosses into the brain less than smaller GLP-1 analogs, which may explain the smaller appetite effect.

What studies say about Dulaglutide

The AWARD trial program compared dulaglutide with other diabetes treatments, and the REWIND trial (The Lancet, 2019) reported fewer major cardiovascular events over about five years.

Weight loss with dulaglutide is smaller than with semaglutide or tirzepatide.

Options and prices

It comes in 2 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:

  • Peptide, 5mg: $135.00
  • Peptide, 10mg: $225.10

The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.

How labs use it

GLP-1 research usually measures body weight, food intake, fasting glucose and insulin, and sometimes gastric emptying. Rodent models of diet-induced obesity are the most common setup.

Because these peptides slow stomach emptying and cut appetite, pair-fed controls help separate direct metabolic effects from simply eating less. Long-acting analogs also need longer washout periods between arms.

Plan a long enough study. Many of these peptides take weeks to show their full effect on weight.

Mixing and concentration

For the 5mg vial, the concentration depends on the volume of water:

  • 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
  • 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL
  • 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/mL

Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

Quality and testing

We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.

The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.

Storage and shelf life

Keep sealed vials in a freezer at -20°C or a fridge at 2 to 8°C, away from light. After mixing, store the vial in the fridge and use it within about four weeks. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.

Handling notes

Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.

Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.

Before you start

  • Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
  • sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
  • alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Often ordered alongside

  • Cagrilintide: Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin analog from Novo Nordisk, given weekly.
  • Liraglutide: Liraglutide is a GLP-1 analog from Novo Nordisk with 97% sequence identity to human GLP-1.
  • Semaglutide: Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist developed by Novo Nordisk.
  • Mazdutide: Mazdutide (IBI362, LY3305677) is a dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist developed by Innovent and Eli Lilly.
  • Tirzepatide: Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that activates two receptors, GIP and GLP-1.

Common questions about Dulaglutide

Can it be used in people or animals?

No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.

What do I mix it with?

Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.

How should I store it?

Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.

What forms does it come in?

Freeze-dried vials. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.

Is Dulaglutide in stock?

Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.

Does it come with a certificate of analysis?

Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
