Description
Liraglutide is an once-daily GLP-1 receptor agonist, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials, multi-vial kits, a nasal spray and sublingual tablets. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
About Liraglutide
Liraglutide is a GLP-1 analog from Novo Nordisk with 97% sequence identity to human GLP-1. A C16 palmitic acid chain on lysine 26 lets it bind albumin, which stretches its half-life to about 13 hours.
It’s approved as Victoza for type 2 diabetes and as Saxenda for weight management.
How it works
Liraglutide activates the GLP-1 receptor on pancreatic beta cells, which increases insulin release when glucose is high and lowers glucagon. It also slows stomach emptying.
In the brain it acts on appetite centers in the hypothalamus and brainstem, which is the main route behind the weight effects.
What studies say about Liraglutide
The SCALE Obesity trial (New England Journal of Medicine, 2015) reported average weight loss of about 8% over 56 weeks at the 3mg level. The LEADER trial (2016) reported fewer cardiovascular events in people with type 2 diabetes.
It was the first GLP-1 agonist approved for weight management, and newer weekly drugs like semaglutide are built on the same idea.

Options and prices
There are 9 ways to buy it, from $43.88 to $620.76:
- Peptide, 1mg: $53.82
- Peptide, 3mg: $65.54
- Peptide, 5mg: $86.03
- Kit, 1mg: $304.80
- Kit, 3mg: $620.76
- Nasal Spray, 10mcg per spray/1mg: $47.38
- Nasal Spray, 30mcg per spray/3mg: $120.51
- Sublingual Tablets, 10mcg per tablet/100ct/1mg: $43.88
- Sublingual Tablets, 30mcg per tablet/100ct/3mg: $73.12
The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.
The kit packs several vials together for longer studies, so every vial comes from the same batch.
The nasal spray is pre-mixed in a metered pump bottle. The label gives the amount per spray and the total, which makes the math simple.
The sublingual tablets are pre-measured. The option tells you the amount per tablet, the count and the total.
Study design notes
GLP-1 research usually measures body weight, food intake, fasting glucose and insulin, and sometimes gastric emptying. Rodent models of diet-induced obesity are the most common setup.
Because these peptides slow stomach emptying and cut appetite, pair-fed controls help separate direct metabolic effects from simply eating less. Long-acting analogs also need longer washout periods between arms.
Plan a long enough study. Many of these peptides take weeks to show their full effect on weight.
Reconstitution math
The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 1mg vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 500mcg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

Purity and batch testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Storage and shelf life
Keep sealed vials in a freezer at -20°C or a fridge at 2 to 8°C, away from light. After mixing, store the vial in the fridge and use it within about four weeks. Keep nasal spray bottles in the fridge once opened, capped and upright.
Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight.
Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Handling notes
Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.
Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
What you’ll need
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Common questions about Liraglutide
Is Liraglutide in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials, multi-vial kits, a nasal spray and sublingual tablets. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
