Description
Our Mazdutide is a GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist, supplied as freeze-dried vials. Every batch is tested for 99% purity or better, and it’s sold for laboratory research only.
Mazdutide explained
Mazdutide (IBI362, LY3305677) is a dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist developed by Innovent and Eli Lilly.
It’s been approved in China.
Mechanism of action
Mazdutide activates GLP-1 receptors, which lower appetite and raise insulin release, and glucagon receptors, which raise energy use and fat burning in the liver.
The glucagon side is what sets it apart from GLP-1-only drugs.
What studies say about Mazdutide
Phase 2 and 3 trials in Chinese adults reported weight loss and improved glucose.
Most published data are from Innovent.
Adding glucagon receptor activity to GLP-1 is meant to raise energy use and reduce liver fat.
The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search to start from.
Mazdutide sizes and forms
It comes in 2 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Peptide, 6mg: $115.97
- Peptide, 12mg: $208.96
These vials are lyophilized powder. Mix them with bacteriostatic water when you’re ready to work with them, and keep unmixed vials cold until then.
Using Mazdutide in the lab
GLP-1 research usually measures body weight, food intake, fasting glucose and insulin, and sometimes gastric emptying. Rodent models of diet-induced obesity are the most common setup.
Because these peptides slow stomach emptying and cut appetite, pair-fed controls help separate direct metabolic effects from simply eating less. Long-acting analogs also need longer washout periods between arms.
Common endpoints in incretin work include body weight, fat and lean mass by scan, food intake, fasting glucose, insulin, HbA1c in longer studies, and liver fat. Lean mass is worth tracking because rapid weight loss takes some muscle with it.
Mixing and concentration
The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 6mg vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 6mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 3mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2mg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

Quality and testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Storage and shelf life
Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.
Handling notes
Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.
Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.
What you’ll need
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Common questions about Mazdutide
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
Is Mazdutide in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
