Description
PEG MGF is a pegylated MGF peptide, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials and a nasal spray. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
PEG MGF explained
PEG-MGF is the MGF E-peptide with a polyethylene glycol chain attached. PEG is a long, water-loving polymer used on many approved drugs to slow their breakdown and clearance.
Plain MGF lasts only minutes in serum. PEGylation is meant to stretch that to days, so labs use PEG-MGF when they want a longer exposure in a single treatment.
How it works
The working part is the same MGF E-domain, studied for activating muscle satellite cells after damage. The PEG chain doesn’t change that sequence.
What it does change is size and shielding. A bigger molecule is filtered by the kidneys more slowly, and the PEG cloud keeps proteases away from the peptide, so it stays intact longer.
PEG MGF research
Published studies are mostly on unmodified MGF, starting with Yang and Goldspink in 2002, which reported more muscle satellite cell division.
PEGylation as a method is well documented. Drugs like pegfilgrastim and peginterferon use it, and it reliably extends half-life. Data on PEG-MGF by itself are limited.

Options and prices
It comes in 4 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Peptide, 2mg: $66.32
- Peptide, 5mg: $100.28
- Peptide, 10mg: $178.84
- Nasal Spray, 20mcg per spray/2mg: $84.37
The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.
The nasal spray is pre-mixed in a metered pump bottle. The label gives the amount per spray and the total, which makes the math simple.
Study design notes
Growth hormone research usually measures GH pulses and IGF-1 in blood, and sometimes body composition. Because GH comes in pulses, sampling time matters a lot.
Many labs pair a GHRH-type peptide with a ghrelin-receptor peptide to study how the two signals add up. Fasting state and time of day both change GH output, so keep them constant between groups.
Freeze-dried peptides are easy to store, so ordering enough for a full study at once keeps every group on the same batch.
Reconstitution math
For the 2mg vial, the concentration depends on the volume of water:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1mg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.
PEG MGF specifications
- Compound: PEG-MGF
- Also known as: pegylated mechano growth factor
- Structure: PEG-succinyl MGF E-peptide (24 amino acids)
- Class: pegylated MGF peptide
- Forms: peptide vial and nasal spray
- Options: 4 sizes and forms
- Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
- Use: laboratory research only
How we test each batch
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
Storage and shelf life
Keep sealed vials in a freezer at -20°C or a fridge at 2 to 8°C, away from light. After mixing, store the vial in the fridge and use it within about four weeks. Keep nasal spray bottles in the fridge once opened, capped and upright.
Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Safe handling
Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.
Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.
What you’ll need
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- acetic acid reconstitution solution, which larger peptides like IGF-1 analogs often dissolve in better
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper
Other compounds to look at
- Ghrelin Acetate: Ghrelin is a 28-amino-acid hormone made mostly in the stomach.
- HGH 191AA: HGH 191AA is somatropin, the 191-amino-acid form of human growth hormone, made by recombinant DNA technology.
- Trevogrumab: Trevogrumab (REGN1033) is a monoclonal antibody from Regeneron that binds myostatin.
- IGF-1 DES: IGF-1 DES is insulin-like growth factor 1 missing its first three amino acids, Gly-Pro-Glu.
- IGF-1 LR3: IGF-1 LR3 is an 83-amino-acid analog of IGF-1 with an arginine swap at position 3 and a 13-amino-acid extension.

PEG MGF questions
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials and a nasal spray. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
Is PEG MGF in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
