Description

Pancragen is a tetrapeptide bioregulator, sold by Pure Rawz for laboratory research. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.

Pancragen explained

Pancragen is a short peptide that Vladimir Khavinson’s bioregulator program linked to pancreatic tissue.

It comes from the bioregulator program led by Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, which proposed that very short peptides can bind DNA and switch particular genes on or off in specific tissues.

Mechanism of action

Khavinson’s group proposes that these very short peptides enter cells and bind specific DNA sequences or histone proteins, nudging gene expression in the tissue they’re named for. In cell culture that shows up as changes in protein synthesis and cell aging markers.

This model comes mostly from one research group and hasn’t been widely replicated, so measure your own tissue markers and run a vehicle control.

Pancragen research

Published work on it comes almost entirely from Khavinson’s group and other Russian labs, mostly cell culture studies of gene expression in pancreatic tissue cells, plus some rodent work.

Independent replication outside Russia is limited, so it’s best treated as an early-stage research peptide.

The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search to start from.

Pancragen sizes and forms

This listing is a single 20mg size, priced at $61.78.

Using Pancragen in the lab

These short peptides are usually tested in the tissue they’re named for, such as pineal, thymus or liver cells. Aged animals or senescent cell lines are the common models.

Plan for small effects. Larger sample sizes help when the expected change is modest.

Short peptides are cheap to run in parallel, so many labs test two or three related bioregulators side by side in the same cell line.

Pancragen specifications

  • Compound: Pancragen
  • Class: tetrapeptide bioregulator
  • Size: 20mg
  • Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
  • Use: laboratory research only

Purity and batch testing

Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.

Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.

Keeping it fresh

Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.

Handling notes

Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.

Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.

How it compares

Pinealon: Pinealon is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Arg from Khavinson’s bioregulator program. It’s short enough that it’s thought to reach cell nuclei.

Chonluten: Chonluten is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Gly, one of the short peptides Khavinson’s bioregulator program linked to bronchial and lung tissue.

Thymalin: Thymalin is a peptide complex extracted from calf thymus, developed in the Soviet Union by Vladimir Khavinson’s group. It’s been used in Russia as an immune modulator.
