Description
HCG is a glycoprotein hormone, sold by Pure Rawz for laboratory research. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
What is HCG?
Human chorionic gonadotropin is a glycoprotein hormone made by the placenta. It acts on the LH receptor, so it stimulates testosterone production in the testes and supports the corpus luteum.
It’s an approved fertility drug.
Mechanism of action
HCG binds the LH receptor, the same one LH uses. In the testes that drives testosterone production by Leydig cells, and in the ovary it triggers ovulation.
It lasts much longer than LH, which makes it a strong, sustained signal.
What studies say about HCG
Clinical uses cover ovulation induction and male hypogonadism.
In research it’s a standard LH receptor agonist.

Options and prices
It comes in 3 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- 2000IU: $61.64
- 5000IU: $100.28
- 10000IU: $143.86
Using HCG in the lab
Research on hormone support compounds usually measures LH, FSH, testosterone, estradiol and SHBG, often during recovery after androgen exposure. Timing of blood draws matters because these hormones change through the day.
Aromatase inhibitors, SERMs and gonadotropin-type compounds act at different points in the hormone axis, so studies often compare them directly.
Draw blood at the same time of day for every sample, since testosterone and LH follow a daily rhythm.
HCG specifications
- Compound: HCG
- Also known as: human chorionic gonadotropin
- Class: glycoprotein hormone
- Options: 3 sizes and forms
- Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
- Use: laboratory research only
Purity and batch testing
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
How to store HCG
Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Note the batch number and the date you opened it in your lab records.
Handling notes
Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.
Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.

- Raloxifene: Raloxifene is a second-generation SERM from Eli Lilly, approved in 1997 as Evista for osteoporosis after menopause.
- Clomiphene: Clomiphene citrate is a SERM approved in the US in 1967 for inducing ovulation, best known as Clomid.
- Enclomiphene Citrate + 6-OXO, combining Enclomiphene and 6-OXO

How it compares
Arimistane: Arimistane is androsta-3,5-diene-7,17-dione, a steroid formed from 7-keto DHEA. It inhibits aromatase and has been sold in supplements as an estrogen blocker.
Clomiphene: Clomiphene citrate is a SERM approved in the US in 1967 for inducing ovulation, best known as Clomid. It’s a mix of two isomers: enclomiphene, which blocks the estrogen receptor, and zuclomiphene, which acts more like a weak estrogen and lingers for weeks.
