Description
Pure Rawz Ovagen is a tripeptide bioregulator, available as freeze-dried vials. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
Ovagen explained
Ovagen is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Leu, one of the short peptides Khavinson’s bioregulator program linked to liver tissue.
It comes from the bioregulator program led by Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, which proposed that very short peptides can bind DNA and switch particular genes on or off in specific tissues.
How it acts in research models
Khavinson’s group proposes that these very short peptides enter cells and bind specific DNA sequences or histone proteins, nudging gene expression in the tissue they’re named for. In cell culture that shows up as changes in protein synthesis and cell aging markers.
This model comes mostly from one research group and hasn’t been widely replicated, so measure your own tissue markers and run a vehicle control.
Ovagen research
Published work on it comes almost entirely from Khavinson’s group and other Russian labs, mostly cell culture studies of gene expression in liver tissue cells, plus some rodent work.
Independent replication outside Russia is limited, so it’s best treated as an early-stage research peptide.

Options and prices
Choose the option that fits your study:
- Peptide, 5mg: $21.98
- Peptide, 20mg: $66.41
These vials are lyophilized powder. Mix them with bacteriostatic water when you’re ready to work with them, and keep unmixed vials cold until then.
How labs use it
Bioregulator peptides are mostly studied in cell culture and in older animals, looking at gene expression, protein synthesis or tissue-specific markers. Most of the published work comes from Vladimir Khavinson’s group in Saint Petersburg.
Because independent replication is limited, labs that work with them tend to include a scrambled-sequence or vehicle control and measure their own markers instead of relying on earlier reports.
Endpoints in this field are usually molecular: expression of tissue-specific genes, markers of cell aging such as p16, telomere length, or protein synthesis rates in cultured cells.
Mixing and concentration
The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 5mg vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.
Ovagen at a glance
- Compound: Ovagen
- Also known as: Glu-Asp-Leu
- Class: tripeptide bioregulator
- Forms: peptide vial
- Options: 2 sizes and forms
- Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
- Use: laboratory research only
Quality and testing
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
How to store Ovagen
Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.
Handling notes
Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.
Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
What you’ll need
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Common questions about Ovagen
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
Is Ovagen in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
