Description

Our Chonluten is a tripeptide bioregulator, supplied for lab research. Each batch is checked for 99%+ purity. It’s intended for research use only.

Chonluten explained

Chonluten is the tripeptide Glu-Asp-Gly, one of the short peptides Khavinson’s bioregulator program linked to bronchial and lung tissue.

It comes from the bioregulator program led by Vladimir Khavinson at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology, which proposed that very short peptides can bind DNA and switch particular genes on or off in specific tissues.

How it works

Khavinson’s group proposes that these very short peptides enter cells and bind specific DNA sequences or histone proteins, nudging gene expression in the tissue they’re named for. In cell culture that shows up as changes in protein synthesis and cell aging markers.

This model comes mostly from one research group and hasn’t been widely replicated, so measure your own tissue markers and run a vehicle control.

What studies say about Chonluten

Published work on it comes almost entirely from Khavinson’s group and other Russian labs, mostly cell culture studies of gene expression in bronchial and lung tissue cells, plus some rodent work.

Independent replication outside Russia is limited, so it’s best treated as an early-stage research peptide.

Using Chonluten in the lab

Bioregulator peptides are mostly studied in cell culture and in older animals, looking at gene expression, protein synthesis or tissue-specific markers. Most of the published work comes from Vladimir Khavinson’s group in Saint Petersburg.

Because independent replication is limited, labs that work with them tend to include a scrambled-sequence or vehicle control and measure their own markers instead of relying on earlier reports.

Endpoints in this field are usually molecular: expression of tissue-specific genes, markers of cell aging such as p16, telomere length, or protein synthesis rates in cultured cells.

Chonluten specifications

  • Compound: Chonluten
  • Class: tripeptide bioregulator
  • Size: 20mg
  • Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
  • Use: laboratory research only

Quality and testing

Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.

Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.

How to store Chonluten

Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.

Working with it safely

Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.

Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.
