Description
Our Orforglipron is an oral non-peptide GLP-1 receptor agonist, supplied as sublingual tablets. Each batch is checked for 99%+ purity. It’s intended for research use only.
About Orforglipron
Orforglipron (LY3502970) is a small-molecule GLP-1 receptor agonist from Eli Lilly that can be taken by mouth. It isn’t a peptide, which is why it doesn’t need special absorption technology.
It’s in phase 3 trials.
Mechanism of action
Orforglipron binds the GLP-1 receptor and activates it mostly through G-protein signaling, with little beta-arrestin recruitment. That raises insulin release and lowers appetite.
Because it’s a small molecule, it survives the gut and works as a pill.
Orforglipron research
Wharton and colleagues reported in the New England Journal of Medicine (2023) up to about 15% weight loss at 36 weeks in a phase 2 trial.
Phase 3 results have since been reported by Lilly.

Options and prices
There are 2 ways to buy it, from $200.98 to $380.48:
- Sublingual Tablets, 6mg per tab/90ct/540mg: $200.98
- Sublingual Tablets, 12mg per tab/90ct/1080mg: $380.48
The sublingual tablets are pre-measured. The option tells you the amount per tablet, the count and the total.
Using Orforglipron in the lab
GLP-1 research usually measures body weight, food intake, fasting glucose and insulin, and sometimes gastric emptying. Rodent models of diet-induced obesity are the most common setup.
Because these peptides slow stomach emptying and cut appetite, pair-fed controls help separate direct metabolic effects from simply eating less. Long-acting analogs also need longer washout periods between arms.
Common endpoints in incretin work include body weight, fat and lean mass by scan, food intake, fasting glucose, insulin, HbA1c in longer studies, and liver fat. Lean mass is worth tracking because rapid weight loss takes some muscle with it.

Quality and testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Keeping it fresh
Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Note the batch number and the date you opened it in your lab records.
Working with it safely
Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.
Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
Before you start
- nothing extra for capsules or tablets, as each unit is pre-measured
- a dry, sealed container if you split a bottle between projects

- Retatrutide + Cagrilintide, combining Retatrutide and Cagrilintide
- Mazdutide: Mazdutide (IBI362, LY3305677) is a dual GLP-1 and glucagon receptor agonist developed by Innovent and Eli Lilly.
- Survodutide: Survodutide (BI 456906) is a peptide from Boehringer Ingelheim and Zealand Pharma that activates two receptors, GLP-1 and glucagon.
- Dulaglutide: Dulaglutide is a long-acting GLP-1 receptor agonist from Eli Lilly.

Alternatives to consider
Liraglutide: Liraglutide is a GLP-1 analog from Novo Nordisk with 97% sequence identity to human GLP-1. A C16 palmitic acid chain on lysine 26 lets it bind albumin, which stretches its half-life to about 13 hours.
Tirzepatide: Tirzepatide is a 39-amino-acid peptide from Eli Lilly that activates two receptors, GIP and GLP-1. A fatty acid side chain lets it bind albumin, so its half-life is about five days. It’s approved as Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes and as Zepbound for weight management.
