About Noopept

Noopept (omberacetam, GVS-111) is N-phenylacetyl-L-prolylglycine ethyl ester, developed at the Zakusov Institute in Moscow. It’s often grouped with racetams, though it’s a dipeptide.

Mechanism of action

Noopept is broken down into cycloprolylglycine, a natural brain peptide. It raises BDNF and NGF expression in the hippocampus and modulates AMPA and NMDA receptors.
