What is 4F-Phenibut HCl?
4F-Phenibut is 4-fluorophenibut, also called F-phenibut or CGP-11130. It’s phenibut with a fluorine atom on the phenyl ring, which makes it a stronger GABA-B agonist.

Mechanism of action
4F-Phenibut activates GABA-B receptors, which slows neuron firing by opening potassium channels and closing calcium channels. It’s thought to bind the alpha2-delta subunit of calcium channels much less than phenibut does.
Its effects in animal tests are sedative and anti-anxiety.
4F-Phenibut HCl research
Ciba-Geigy first made it as a research compound. Studies report it binds GABA-B receptors more strongly than phenibut but less than baclofen.
