Description
Pure Rawz Sulbutiamine is a lipophilic thiamine derivative. Every batch is tested for 99% purity or better, and it’s sold for laboratory research only.
About Sulbutiamine
Sulbutiamine is two modified thiamine (vitamin B1) molecules linked by a disulfide bond. It was developed in Japan in the 1960s to get more thiamine into the brain.
It’s sold in France as Arcalion.
How it acts in research models
Sulbutiamine crosses into the brain easily because it’s fat-soluble, then is reduced back into thiamine. More thiamine supports energy metabolism and acetylcholine and glutamate signaling.
It raises brain thiamine levels more than thiamine itself.
Published Sulbutiamine research
Trials looked at fatigue after infection and in multiple sclerosis, with mixed results.
Rodent studies report effects on memory and on dopamine and glutamate signaling.

Sulbutiamine sizes and forms
There are 3 ways to buy it, from $17.47 to $61.76:

- 20g: $34.41
- 40g: $61.76
How labs use it
Cognition studies often test a compound in a deficit model, for example after sleep loss, stress or a drug that impairs memory, because effects are easier to see there than in healthy animals.
Start with the smallest size to confirm solubility and handling, then scale up once the protocol is set.
Test a range of amounts if you can. Many cognition compounds have an inverted-U response, where too much works worse than a moderate amount.
Sulbutiamine at a glance

- Purity: 99% or higher, verified by first- and third-party testing
- Use: laboratory research only
Purity and batch testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Keeping it fresh
Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Working with it safely
Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.
Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.
