Description
Our Reduced Glutathione is a reduced L-glutathione (GSH), supplied as freeze-dried vials, multi-vial kits, a nasal spray and sublingual tablets. Each batch is checked for 99%+ purity. It’s intended for research use only.
What is Reduced Glutathione?
Reduced glutathione, GSH, is the tripeptide gamma-glutamyl-cysteine-glycine in its active form. It’s the main antioxidant inside human cells.
We sell it as freeze-dried vials, nasal sprays, sublingual tablets and a 10-vial kit.
How it acts in research models
The cysteine’s sulfur group donates electrons to neutralize free radicals and is then recycled by glutathione reductase. Glutathione also binds toxins so the liver can clear them.
Reduced glutathione is unstable in water, so vials are mixed fresh.
Reduced Glutathione research
Research covers oxidative stress, liver function, skin lightening and Parkinson’s disease. Intravenous glutathione has been studied in Parkinson’s with mixed results.
Richie’s 2015 trial reported oral glutathione raised body stores over six months.

Choosing your option
Choose the option that fits your study:
- Peptide, 600mg: $76.30
- Peptide, 1200mg: $132.55
- Peptide, 1500mg: $166.40
- Kit, 6000 mg Kit x 10 Vials (600mg): $557.25
- Nasal Spray, 600mg/0.6mg per spray: $88.37
- Nasal Spray, 1200mg/1.2mg per spray: $150.91
- Sublingual Tablets, 10mg per tablet/60ct/600mg: $92.39
The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.
The kit packs several vials together for longer studies, so every vial comes from the same batch.
The nasal spray comes ready to use in a metered bottle, so there’s nothing to mix. The size shows how much each spray delivers and the total in the bottle.
Sublingual tablets are pressed to dissolve under the tongue. Each one holds a fixed amount, printed in the size option, so there’s no measuring.
Study design notes
Nutrient research usually measures blood levels of the nutrient itself first, then the downstream markers, such as NAD+ levels, homocysteine, glutathione or inflammatory markers.
Baseline status matters a lot. Effects are usually larger in subjects that start out low, so measure it before exposure begins.
Keep the rest of the diet steady during a nutrient study. Changes in food intake can swamp a small supplement effect.
Reconstitution math
The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 600mg vial:
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 200mg/mL
- 5mL of bacteriostatic water gives 120mg/mL
- 10mL of bacteriostatic water gives 60mg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

How we test each batch
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
Storage and shelf life
Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Refrigerate spray bottles after opening and keep the cap on.
Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight.
Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Handling notes
Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.
Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
Before you start
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

Reduced Glutathione questions
Is Reduced Glutathione in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials, multi-vial kits, a nasal spray and sublingual tablets. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
