Epi-Andro explained

Epi-Andro is epiandrosterone, a natural steroid that the body makes from DHT. In supplement research it’s studied as a precursor that can be turned back into DHT.

It’s on the WADA prohibited list as an anabolic agent.

How it works

Epiandrosterone can be converted by 17-beta-HSD and 3-beta-HSD enzymes into DHT, which binds the androgen receptor. It doesn’t aromatize into estrogen.

Because of that, it’s used in research on DHT-driven effects.

What studies say about Epi-Andro

Published research is mostly on its role as a DHT metabolite and its detection in anti-doping work. There are few controlled studies of epiandrosterone itself.
