Description

Pure Rawz Beta-Ecdysterone is a phytoecdysteroid (20-hydroxyecdysone). It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.

What is Beta-Ecdysterone?

Beta-ecdysterone is 20-hydroxyecdysone, the main ecdysteroid in insects and in plants such as spinach, quinoa and Cyanotis vaga. Our capsules are standardized to 99%.

It’s the best-studied ecdysteroid.

Mechanism of action

Ecdysterone doesn’t bind the androgen receptor. Parr’s group showed in 2015 that it acts through estrogen receptor beta, which in muscle cells supports protein synthesis and fiber growth.

It also activates the PI3K/Akt pathway, a main growth signal in muscle.

Published Beta-Ecdysterone research

Isenmann and colleagues reported in Archives of Toxicology (2019) that ecdysterone increased muscle mass and strength gains in trained men over 10 weeks. WADA added it to its monitoring program after that study.

Older Soviet research reported anabolic effects in rats.

Choosing your option

There are 2 ways to buy it, from $17.98 to $33.66:

  • 150mg per capsule/50ct/7.5g: $17.98
  • 150mg per capsule/100ct/15g: $33.66

Study design notes

Labs comparing these compounds usually track the same panel across groups: body composition, testosterone and estradiol, and lipids. Resistance-trained models show effects more clearly than sedentary ones.

Note which compounds can aromatize. It changes which hormone markers matter.

Common endpoints are lean mass, strength, testosterone and estradiol, plus the specific metabolites the compound turns into. Lipids and liver enzymes belong in the panel too.

Purity and batch testing

We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.

The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.

Keeping it fresh

Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.

Working with it safely

Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.

Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.
