Description

BPC-157 Arginine is a stable salt form of the BPC-157 pentadecapeptide, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials, a nasal spray and sublingual tablets. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.

About BPC-157 Arginine

BPC-157 arginine salt is the same 15-amino-acid sequence as standard BPC-157, Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, paired with arginine instead of acetate as the counter-ion.

The arginine form was developed by Predrag Sikiric’s group in Zagreb to hold up better in solution and in stomach acid, which is why it’s the version usually chosen for oral and tablet research.

How it acts in research models

The peptide sequence does the work, so the mechanism is the same as acetate BPC-157: rat studies link it to new blood vessel growth through VEGFR2 signaling, to the nitric oxide system, and to faster migration of tendon fibroblasts.

The arginine counter-ion mainly changes stability. Labs that keep solutions for longer, or that work with oral models, are the ones that usually pick it.

Published BPC-157 Arginine research

Sikiric and colleagues have published dozens of rat studies on BPC-157 covering tendon, ligament, gut and blood vessel injury models. Work on the stable arginine salt reported that it kept its activity after long storage in water and after passing through gastric juice.

There are no completed human efficacy trials for either salt form.

Choosing your option

It comes in 5 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:

  • Peptide, 5mg: $89.19
  • Peptide, 10mg: $178.39
  • Nasal Spray, 100mcg per spray/10mg: $178.39
  • Sublingual Tablets, 250mcg per tablet/60ct/15mg: $267.58
  • Sublingual Tablets, 250mcg per tablet/120ct/30mg: $535.18

These vials are lyophilized powder. Mix them with bacteriostatic water when you’re ready to work with them, and keep unmixed vials cold until then.

The nasal spray comes ready to use in a metered bottle, so there’s nothing to mix. The size shows how much each spray delivers and the total in the bottle.

Sublingual tablets are pressed to dissolve under the tongue. Each one holds a fixed amount, printed in the size option, so there’s no measuring.

How labs use it

Repair peptide research mostly uses injury models: tendon or ligament damage, skin wounds, gut lining injury or muscle strain. Healing time, tissue strength and histology are the usual endpoints.

Because injury models vary a lot between animals, labs use larger groups and blinded scoring. A sham-injury group helps separate the peptide’s effect from normal healing.

Pick your time points before the study starts. Repair happens in phases, and the phase you sample changes what you see.

Reconstitution math

For the 5mg vial, the concentration depends on the volume of water:

  • 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
  • 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL
  • 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/mL

Let the vial reach room temperature, run the water slowly down the glass, and swirl gently until it’s clear. Don’t shake it.

Quality and testing

We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.

The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.

How to store BPC-157 Arginine

Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Keep nasal spray bottles in the fridge once opened, capped and upright.

Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight.

Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.

Safe handling

Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.

Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.

Before you start

  • Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
  • sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
  • alcohol swabs for the vial stopper
