Description
VIP peptide is a neuropeptide, and Pure Rawz sells it as freeze-dried vials and a nasal spray. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
About VIP peptide
Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is a 28-amino-acid neuropeptide found in the gut, brain and immune system. It relaxes smooth muscle, widens blood vessels and has anti-inflammatory effects.
It belongs to the glucagon/secretin family.
How it works
VIP works through two receptors, VPAC1 and VPAC2, which raise cyclic AMP inside cells. In smooth muscle that means relaxation, so blood vessels widen and the gut and airways loosen.
On immune cells, VIP turns down inflammatory cytokines like TNF-alpha and IL-6 and pushes T cells toward a regulatory profile. That’s the basis for its study in arthritis, lung and gut inflammation.
VIP peptide research
VIP was first isolated by Said and Mutt in 1970. Delgado and colleagues later reported it reduced inflammation in mouse arthritis models.
An inhaled form, aviptadil, has been tested in lung disease.

VIP peptide sizes and forms
There are 4 ways to buy it, from $42.48 to $99.99:
- Peptide, 5mg: $42.48
- Peptide, 10mg: $79.06
- Peptide, 12mg: $95.35
- Nasal Spray, 50mcg per spray/5mg: $99.99
The vials hold a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder under a sealed stopper. Freeze-drying keeps the peptide stable in transit. You add sterile bacteriostatic water to dissolve it before use.
The nasal spray is pre-mixed in a metered pump bottle. The label gives the amount per spray and the total, which makes the math simple.
How labs use it
Repair peptide research mostly uses injury models: tendon or ligament damage, skin wounds, gut lining injury or muscle strain. Healing time, tissue strength and histology are the usual endpoints.
Because injury models vary a lot between animals, labs use larger groups and blinded scoring. A sham-injury group helps separate the peptide’s effect from normal healing.
Pick your time points before the study starts. Repair happens in phases, and the phase you sample changes what you see.
Reconstitution math
The liquid you add sets the concentration. For a 5mg vial:
- 1mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5mg/mL
- 2mL of bacteriostatic water gives 2.5mg/mL
- 3mL of bacteriostatic water gives 1.67mg/mL
Add the water slowly along the inside of the vial and roll it gently until the powder dissolves. Shaking can damage peptide chains.

Purity and batch testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Storage and shelf life
Freeze-dried vials keep best in the freezer, and a fridge is fine for a few weeks. Once reconstituted, keep it refrigerated and finish it within roughly 28 days. Refrigerate spray bottles after opening and keep the cap on.
Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Handling notes
Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.
Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.
What you’ll need
- Bacteriostatic Water for reconstitution, or Sterile Water if you’ll use the whole vial at once
- sterile insulin-type syringes or pipettes for measuring
- alcohol swabs for the vial stopper

VIP peptide FAQ
How should I store it?
Follow the storage section above. In short: cold and dark for freeze-dried vials, room temperature and dry for capsules, tablets, powders and liquids, unless the label says otherwise.
What forms does it come in?
Freeze-dried vials and a nasal spray. Pick the one you want from the dropdown on this page.
Is VIP peptide in stock?
Yes. It’s in stock and ships from our warehouse after your order clears.
Does it come with a certificate of analysis?
Yes. Every batch is tested, and we’ll email the certificate of analysis for your batch number on request.
Can it be used in people or animals?
No. It’s sold for laboratory research only and isn’t approved for human or veterinary use.
What do I mix it with?
Most labs use sterile bacteriostatic water. Add it slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently until the powder dissolves. Don’t shake it.
