Adreno is a capsule formula of vitamins, minerals and plant extracts built around prostate research. The main ingredients are saw palmetto (200mg of a 45% extract), Pygeum africanum (100mg) and a plant sterol complex (50mg).

How it works

Saw palmetto weakly inhibits 5-alpha-reductase, plant sterols affect prostaglandins in prostate tissue, and zinc is concentrated in the prostate. The antioxidants round it out.

Saw palmetto and pygeum have been studied for urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate, with mixed trial results. Beta-sitosterol, the main plant sterol, improved urine flow in a 1995 Lancet trial by Berges.
