C3G, cyanidin-3-glucoside, is the most common anthocyanin in nature, found in blackberries, black rice, bilberries and purple corn.

It’s the pigment behind many red and purple fruits.

Mechanism of action

C3G activates AMPK and affects PPAR signaling in fat and liver cells. It’s also a strong antioxidant and lowers NF-kB inflammation signaling in cell studies.
