Description
Raloxifene is a selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM), and Pure Rawz sells it as a liquid. Every batch is tested for 99% purity or better, and it’s sold for laboratory research only.
Raloxifene explained
Raloxifene is a second-generation SERM from Eli Lilly, approved in 1997 as Evista for osteoporosis after menopause. It’s a benzothiophene, a different chemical family from tamoxifen and clomiphene.
It acts like estrogen in bone but blocks estrogen in breast and uterine tissue, so it doesn’t thicken the uterine lining the way tamoxifen can.
How it acts in research models
Raloxifene binds the estrogen receptor, and the shape of the bound receptor decides what happens next. In bone cells it recruits co-activators and slows bone breakdown, like estrogen does.
In breast and uterine cells the same binding recruits co-repressors, so estrogen-driven growth is blocked. That tissue-by-tissue switch is the defining trait of a SERM.
Published Raloxifene research
The MORE trial, published in JAMA in 1999, found raloxifene lowered the risk of new vertebral fractures in postmenopausal women with osteoporosis, and also cut the rate of invasive breast cancer.
The STAR trial (JAMA, 2006) compared it head to head with tamoxifen for breast cancer prevention and found similar protection against invasive cancer, with fewer uterine cancers and blood clots.

Raloxifene sizes and forms
This listing is a 30ml bottle at 60mg per mL for $54.99.
The liquid is a ready-made solution. The concentration per mL is on the label, and a graduated dropper gives the most accurate measures.
Using Raloxifene in the lab
Labs studying the HPG axis usually take a baseline hormone panel, then repeat it at fixed points during and after exposure. That makes recovery curves easy to compare between compounds.
Estradiol assays vary a lot in accuracy at low levels, so use a sensitive method if estrogen suppression is the endpoint.
Draw blood at the same time of day for every sample, since testosterone and LH follow a daily rhythm.
Measuring the liquid
At 60mg per mL, every 1mL holds 60mg and every 0.1mL holds 6mg. A graduated 1mL dropper or syringe makes those measures accurate.

Purity and batch testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Keeping it fresh
Keep the bottle capped, upright and out of direct sunlight at room temperature unless the label says otherwise. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Handling notes
Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.
Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.
