Description
Pure Rawz Quercetin is a flavonol, available as a powder. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
Quercetin explained
Quercetin is a flavonol found in onions, apples, capers and many other plants. It’s one of the most common flavonoids in the diet.
Pure quercetin is a yellow powder.
How it acts in research models
Quercetin inhibits many kinases and enzymes, stabilizes mast cells and acts as an antioxidant. With dasatinib, it kills some senescent cells in mouse studies.
It’s a frequent hit in screening assays, which means its effects aren’t very specific.
What studies say about Quercetin
Research covers inflammation, blood pressure, allergy and its use as a senolytic with dasatinib, studied by Kirkland’s group at the Mayo Clinic.
Its absorption is poor, so blood levels stay low.

Quercetin sizes and forms
It comes in 2 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Powder, 15g: $18.57
- Powder, 30g: $33.88
The powder is the bulk form, for labs that weigh their own amounts. Use a milligram scale for accuracy.
How labs use it
Botanical and mushroom research usually starts by checking the extract’s marker compounds, such as polysaccharides, alkaloids or flavonoids, then moves to cell culture or animal models of inflammation, immunity or metabolism.
Extracts vary by source and method, so labs keep to one batch through a study and record the standardization on the label.
Endpoints depend on the plant: immune markers and cytokines for mushroom beta-glucans, glucose and lipids for metabolic botanicals, or behavior tests for calming plants.

How we test each batch
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
How to store Quercetin
Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.
Working with it safely
Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.
Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
Before you start
- a milligram scale, since powder has to be weighed
- a suitable solvent if you’re making your own solution, such as DMSO or propylene glycol
Often ordered alongside
- Icariin 98% (Horny Goat Weed Extract): Icariin is the main flavonoid in Epimedium, a plant called horny goat weed.
- Maitake Extract 30% Polysaccharides: Maitake is Grifola frondosa, a mushroom that grows in clusters at the base of oak trees, also called hen of the woods.
- Amentoflavone 20% Extract: Amentoflavone is a biflavonoid, two apigenin units joined together.
- Sea Moss: Sea Moss gummies have organic Irish sea moss (2,400mg), bladderwrack (1,500mg) and burdock root (360mg) per serving, at about 20 calories.
- Agrocybe 30% Extract: Agrocybe is a genus of edible mushrooms.

How it compares
Agrocybe 30% Extract: Agrocybe is a genus of edible mushrooms. The species used in extracts is usually Agrocybe aegerita (also called A. cylindracea), the black poplar mushroom. Ours is standardized to 30% polysaccharides.
Echinacea Purpurea Cichoric Acid 2%: Echinacea purpurea is purple coneflower, a North American plant. Our extract is standardized to 2% cichoric acid, one of its main active compounds.
