Description
Pure Rawz Ethyl Oleate is a USP-grade carrier oil. It’s sold as a laboratory supply for research use.
About Ethyl Oleate
Ethyl oleate is the ethyl ester of oleic acid. It’s a thin, clear liquid and ours is USP grade.
It’s used as an alternative to vegetable oils in some formulations.
How it works
Fat-soluble compounds dissolve in it, and its low viscosity makes solutions easier to handle. It’s often mixed with other oils and co-solvents.
Keep it sealed, since it can oxidize.
Ethyl Oleate research
Pharmaceutical work uses ethyl oleate as a vehicle for fat-soluble drugs because it’s less viscous than most plant oils.
It’s also found naturally in small amounts in the body.

Ethyl Oleate sizes and forms
It comes in 3 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Injectable Grade, 50ml: $16.37
- Liquid, 60ml: $19.66
- Injectable Grade, 100ml: $32.22
Using Ethyl Oleate in the lab
Keep your solvents and diluents from one lot through a study where you can, and record the lot number with the batch numbers of the compounds you mix.
Clean technique matters more than the brand of liquid: swab stoppers, use fresh sterile syringes and don’t return unused liquid to the bottle.
Record the lot number of every liquid you use, along with the date you opened it. If a batch of results looks odd, the diluent is one of the first things to rule out.

- Options: 3 sizes and forms
- Use: laboratory research only
Storage and shelf life
Store solvents tightly capped at room temperature, away from heat, flames and direct light. Label the container with the opening date. It saves guesswork later.
Choosing the right diluent or solvent
Different compounds need different liquids. Here’s how our range lines up:
- Bacteriostatic Water: the default for most peptides, with 0.9% benzyl alcohol so a vial can be drawn from for several weeks
- Sterile Water: no preservative, for single-use mixing or assays where benzyl alcohol would interfere
- Acetic Acid Reconstitution Solution: dilute acid for peptides that dissolve poorly in water, such as IGF-1 LR3
- Phosphate Buffered Solution: holds the pH near 7.4 for dilutions and cell work
- L-Glutathione Reconstitution Solution: adds an antioxidant for peptides prone to oxidation
- Reconstitution Solution: a general-purpose sterile diluent for the shelf
- DMSO Dimethyl Sulfoxide: a strong solvent for stock solutions of compounds that won’t dissolve in water
- Benzyl Alcohol USP Grade: preservative and co-solvent for oil-based solutions
- Grape Seed Oil 100% Filtered: a light carrier oil for fat-soluble compounds
Safe handling
Wear gloves and eye protection, work in a ventilated area, and keep flammable solvents away from heat and open flames. Close the bottle after each use.
Often ordered alongside
- Sterile Water: Sterile water is purified water that has been sterilized and sealed in a vial.
- Denatured Ethanol 99.5%: This is 99.5% ethanol with a denaturant added so it can’t be drunk.
- L-Glutathione Reconstitution Solution: This is a sterile 10mL solution with L-glutathione added, made for reconstituting peptides where an antioxidant in the liquid helps.
- Benzyl Alcohol USP Grade: Benzyl alcohol is a simple aromatic alcohol used as a preservative and solvent.
- Reconstitution Solution: Our reconstitution solution is a sterile 10mL vial of liquid for dissolving freeze-dried research peptides.

How it compares
Benzyl Benzoate USP Grade: Benzyl benzoate is an ester of benzyl alcohol and benzoic acid. Ours is USP grade.
Propylene Glycol: Propylene glycol is a clear, slightly sweet liquid used as a solvent and humectant. It’s USP grade.
