Description
Our Ostarine is a nonsteroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM), supplied as capsules, tablets, a liquid, a powder, an injectable solution and a transdermal liquid. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.
About Ostarine
MK-2866 is ostarine, also called enobosarm or GTx-024, a nonsteroidal SARM first developed by GTx Inc. It binds the androgen receptor, but its structure isn’t based on testosterone, and in lab models it acts mainly on muscle and bone with much less activity in tissues like the prostate.
It’s the most studied compound in its class. It has gone through several human trials but has never been approved as a medicine, and it’s on the WADA prohibited list.
How it acts in research models
Ostarine binds the androgen receptor in the cell’s cytoplasm. The receptor then moves into the nucleus and switches on androgen-responsive genes, the same basic route testosterone uses.
The tissue selectivity comes from how the bound receptor recruits helper proteins, which differs between muscle, bone and prostate cells. Unlike testosterone, ostarine isn’t converted to DHT by 5-alpha reductase or to estrogen by aromatase.
Published Ostarine research
The best-known study is a phase 2 trial by Dobs and colleagues, published in The Lancet Oncology in 2013. It tested enobosarm in 159 patients with cancer-related muscle wasting and reported more lean body mass than placebo.
Later trials looked at it in breast cancer that carries androgen receptors. Earlier rodent work showed high-affinity receptor binding and muscle and bone gains with little effect on prostate weight.

Choosing your option
It comes in 9 options. Pick one from the dropdown above the cart button:
- Capsules, 20mg/60ct/1.2g: $127.78
- Tablets, 15mg/35ct/525mg: $55.90
- Tablets, 15mg/70ct/1050mg: $111.80
- Liquid, 15ml/17mg per ml/250mg: $26.62
- Liquid, 30ml/33mg per ml/1000mg: $106.48
- Liquid, 30ml/67mg per ml/2000mg: $212.97
- Powder, 1g: $106.48
- Injectable, 10ml/64mg per ml = 640mg: $68.15
- Transdermal, 60ml/33mg per ml/2000mg: $212.97
Capsules hold a measured amount each, listed in the size option with the count and total.
Tablets are pressed with a fixed amount per tablet, shown in the size option along with the count.
The liquid is a ready-made solution. The concentration per mL is on the label, and a graduated dropper gives the most accurate measures.
Powder suits labs that want to make their own solutions or capsules. Weigh it on a milligram scale.
The injectable form is a sterile solution in a sealed vial at a stated concentration per mL.
The transdermal liquid is made to be applied to the skin in research models, at a stated concentration per mL.
Using Ostarine in the lab
Labs comparing SARMs usually match exposure time and measure the same panel across compounds: muscle and prostate weight in rodents, plus hormone and lipid markers. That tissue-selectivity ratio is what SARM research is built around.
Liquids make small, even measurements easy, while capsules and tablets suit studies that need a fixed amount per unit.
Run a baseline panel before exposure starts. Without it, hormone changes are hard to interpret.
Measuring the liquid
At 17mg per mL, every 1mL holds 17mg and every 0.1mL holds 1.7mg. A graduated 1mL dropper or syringe makes those measures accurate.

How we test each batch
We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.
The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.
Keeping it fresh
Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Keep the bottle capped, upright and out of direct sunlight at room temperature unless the label says otherwise.
Note the batch number and the date you opened it in your lab records.
Safe handling
Treat it as a lab chemical. Gloves and safety glasses are the minimum, and a clean, uncluttered workspace cuts down on mix-ups.
Store prepared solutions apart from untouched stock, and record who mixed what and when.
What you’ll need
- a graduated 1mL dropper or syringe for accurate volumes
- a milligram scale, since powder has to be weighed
- a suitable solvent if you’re making your own solution, such as DMSO or propylene glycol
