Description

TP-508 is a thrombin-derived regenerative peptide, sold by Pure Rawz for laboratory research. It’s tested to 99% purity or higher and sold strictly for lab research.

TP-508 explained

TP-508, also called Chrysalin, is a 23-amino-acid peptide taken from a non-enzyme region of human thrombin. It was developed by OrthoLogic.

It doesn’t clot blood. It mimics the part of thrombin that binds cells and signals for repair.

How it acts in research models

TP-508 binds a non-proteolytically activated thrombin receptor on cells such as fibroblasts and endothelial cells. That raises nitric oxide signaling and recruits cells involved in repair.

Researchers also study it for protecting blood vessels after radiation injury.

TP-508 research

Phase 1 and 2 trials looked at TP-508 for diabetic foot ulcers and for wrist fractures. Animal studies reported faster fracture and wound healing and better blood vessel growth.

Development stopped after phase 3 fracture results were mixed.

The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search to start from.

It comes in one option, priced at $399.99.

Using TP-508 in the lab

Repair peptide research mostly uses injury models: tendon or ligament damage, skin wounds, gut lining injury or muscle strain. Healing time, tissue strength and histology are the usual endpoints.

Because injury models vary a lot between animals, labs use larger groups and blinded scoring. A sham-injury group helps separate the peptide’s effect from normal healing.

Pick your time points before the study starts. Repair happens in phases, and the phase you sample changes what you see.

  • Use: laboratory research only

How we test each batch

We test each batch for identity and purity before it ships, using HPLC and mass spectrometry, with independent third-party checks on top of our own.

The batch number on the label matches the certificate of analysis. If your lab keeps paperwork on file, ask us for it and we’ll email it over.

Keeping it fresh

Keep the container sealed at room temperature, away from heat, moisture and sunlight. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.

Working with it safely

Wear gloves and eye protection when you open or measure it, and work on a clean surface.

Label everything you prepare, keep it away from food areas, and follow your lab’s rules for disposing of sharps and chemical waste.
