Unifiram explained

Unifiram (DM-232) is a close relative of sunifiram from the same Florence group. It’s a bicyclic compound and even more potent than sunifiram in mouse tests.

Mechanism of action

Unifiram is thought to work like sunifiram, raising acetylcholine release and AMPA-dependent signaling in the hippocampus.

Data are limited to rodent studies from the Florence group.

The Florence group reported that it reversed scopolamine amnesia in mice at very low doses.
