Description
Pure Rawz Protirelin is a thyrotropin-releasing hormone (TRH). Each batch is checked for 99%+ purity. It’s intended for research use only.
About Protirelin
Protirelin is synthetic TRH, the three-amino-acid hormone pGlu-His-Pro-NH2 that the hypothalamus uses to tell the pituitary to release TSH.
It was the first hypothalamic hormone to be sequenced, work that earned Roger Guillemin and Andrew Schally part of the 1977 Nobel Prize.
How it works
TRH binds TRH receptors on pituitary thyrotroph cells and triggers TSH release, and with it the release of thyroid hormones downstream. It also raises prolactin.
In the brain, TRH receptors are spread well beyond the hypothalamus, which accounts for its stimulant and arousal effects in animal models.
What studies say about Protirelin
Protirelin was used for decades as a diagnostic test of the thyroid axis. It also has effects in the brain, and researchers have studied it for arousal, depression and neuroprotection.
Its half-life is only minutes, which is why longer-acting analogs such as taltirelin were developed.
The primary literature is on PubMed. Here’s a search to start from.
Choosing your option
There are 2 ways to buy it, from $101.33 to $212.78:
- 20mg: $101.33
- 50mg: $212.78
Study design notes
GH-axis studies often look at IGF-1 as the steadier marker, since a single GH reading can miss a pulse. Cortisol and prolactin are worth measuring too, because some secretagogues raise them.
Run each peptide on its own before you test combinations, so you know what each one contributes.
Freeze-dried peptides are easy to store, so ordering enough for a full study at once keeps every group on the same batch.

Purity and batch testing
Every batch is tested before it goes on sale. Identity is checked by mass spectrometry, and purity by HPLC, with a target of 99% or higher.
Each container is labeled with the product, the amount and the batch number. Email us that number and we’ll send the certificate of analysis for your batch.
Keeping it fresh
Store capsules, tablets and powder in a cool, dry place out of direct light, with the lid closed tight. Write the date you opened or mixed it on the label, so anyone else in the lab knows how old it is.
Handling notes
Handle it the way you’d handle any research chemical: gloves, eye protection and a clean bench. Don’t eat or drink where you work with it.
Keep it out of reach of anyone who isn’t trained, and dispose of used syringes, vials and wipes according to your lab’s waste rules.
